Car straightened out by Brackmills Body Repairs, new bumper bar , lights , outer bumper and respray /filling done by me , and a new exhaust fitted by MIJ performance.
Both suppliers highly recommended ...

33 cars, so Saturday 25th April saw 4 MR2 races ..in the heats / finals format....
Qualifying and 3 races with not so much as a spin ..a little slow ..but safe and fun. Finished 12th in the first Final....
..but unfortunately didn't finish the 2nd Final .... as a result of a major impact ....

Snetterton 15th March double header

Qualified in 10th for both races , finished 10th in first race ...and 20th in 2nd race ......a huge spin after the Esses ....ending up facing the oncoming hoardes ...no impacts ...no damage ......lucky that time ..

Headgasket replaced and head skimmed

Following multiple instances of overheating (starting at Cadwell Park in June), and culminating in (4 laps from the end) retirement from the last leg of the Birkett 6 hour race ; it was obvious the engine had given up !

Snetterton and Birkett Relay - Cooling system gives up again

Overheating problems started to get worse as I dumped all the coolant at the exit of Russell ....turning it into a skid pan for the following cars .....
In october at the Birkett, same problem ...but this time 55 mins into my drive ....and 5 mins before the end of the race I had to limp home for one final car change.

Rolling road result

Pre 2009 season check at Northampton Motorsport on their new rolling road .....turned in a healthy power curve and a peak of 177BHP.
